These days are sober days as the Lord would have us press into one another in new and wonderful ways. We must find ourselves on the wall together and pressing into one another in the days ahead. I would remind each of you to focus yourself upon deepening covenant and being faithful to the times that we have to gather.
1. Press into our intercessory times with (you need these times for prayer to be built in you)
2. Press into our discipleship times ( you need this time for family to be strengthened in you)
3. Press into the corporate Harp bowl and crown times (you need this time to stay aligned with your leaders)
4. Press into the Timothy times (you need this time to grow and mature in your ministry calling)
5. Press into the Glory Of Zion webcasts and first fruit services on the web. (you need these times to know where we are headed and what the future will be looking like in the days ahead. Also that you might align with those whom we align with)
Give yourselves to the times that the Lord is giving you. The enemy of our soul is desiring to distract us from connection in the ways we should so find yourself faithful in the days ahead.
There was a time in the life of Israel just before Israel was judged when Paul told the people not to live as they normally would but to press into God more significantly than they normally would. I say to you this is a time for that.
1 Cor 7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
1 Cor 7:30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
1 Cor 7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
This week I witnessed the enemy trying to manipulate the emotions of our people so that they would become inward focused and let their emotions try to rule them. That is a ploy and device of hell. We must not get caught in that trap. The enemy of our soul will use every place of fear within us to cause our insecurity to kick in. Don't let him do that. Don't be ignorant of his schemes.
The enemy shouts:
You are rejected
You are not appreciated
You are not significant
You are overlooked
You are lost
You are not needed
And the list goes on. Fill in your own fear and I bet he has been saying it to you.
The Lord of all says otherwise:
Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein
he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage
again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Life is not about any one of us individually in the days ahead but life is about us as in we the corporate body of Christ. We need one another in times of trial and in times of change. Press in, press in, press in to every appointed time the Lord has that our ranks might be strengthened. Get on the Wall and make sure you are on the right wall.
Isa 62:6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves;
Isa 62:7 And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
2 Sam 11:1 Then it happened in the spring, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him and all Israel, and they destroyed the sons of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem.
2 Sam 11:2 Now when evening came David arose from his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful in appearance.
Phil 2:2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
Phil 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself;
Phil 2:4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Phil 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
Press into one another and the times we have together for the time is short. This is not legalism this is an admonition from your leaders.
2 Th 3:4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
2 Th 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
