I sense the Lord will in the days and years ahead be taking the USA into a designated time of what I would label captivity. By that I mean we are giving way to systems that have a desire to steal liberty and freedom and future momentum. The body of Christ is especially susceptible to difficult times in the days ahead unless there is considerable shifting in mindsets within her.
The Lord has been showing me that we must learn how to war with systems and the voices which would oppose Christ but we must learn to do so while in the midst of captivity. We must be ready to triumph in the midst of a constricted season. It rains on the just and the unjust and if we are to triumph then we must posture ourselves to endure the lack of rain and the deluges ahead. I am reminded that when Babylon took Israel captive it was in the plan of God to accomplish some things in Israel during that time which could not be accomplished otherwise. God spoke to Israel and said do not resist the Chaldeans. Daniel knew how to contend in the midst of captivity and how to triumph in the midst of captivity.
The church of the USA must position herself to contend from the midst of captivity in the days ahead. This is for a time to come but if we don't consider now then we will not be aligned to gain the victory in the days ahead.
Our political structure does not determine our victory but how we respond to it very much can. I am not saying we should desire captivity but I am reminded that those who fight the Chaldeans rather than the spirit behind them could end up dying by the sword. Fight as we can but only as we should.
Primarily what I am seeing in the body of Christ is a contending as if this war is between republicans, democrats and independents. I say it is not. I hear the Lord saying that we must be careful in the days ahead not to contend on the wrong battlefront.
We must be careful not to replace Kingly intercession with nationalism. Our contending is between the voice of the King and antichrist voices which would restrict the liberties of my people.
I hear the Lord speaking that we must learn and position ourselves to triumph from a constricted place.
The Lord would say this is not a time for my people to war on the battlefront of men but you must war in the spirit to enter into what I have prepared for your victory. I hear the Lord saying so clearly to prepare for what he is about to do. Be ready to connect and align in new ways. I hear him saying that the government of the Kingdom must align in the USA in the days ahead in a Kingly alignment, not just in the USA but specifically in the USA and the nations which are on her borders.
The Lord says we must guard our hearts from the seduction of a nationalistically driven political spirit which would try to overshadow the mountain which I the Lord am building in the earth.
May the Lord give us wisdom.
