Founders
David and Laurie were married in 1982 and have served side by side in the ministry
from 1984 until the present.
After more than a decade of working with
student ministries, David & Laurie both took an assignment from the Lord within
a local church as they served as elders and the senior leadership team of Father’s
House of Houston Church. During their assignment at Father’s House, David & Laurie
began developing their apostolic and prophetic ministry callings and many leaders
and ministries were raised up and began to relate to them as sons and daughters
and peers in the ministry.
Over time a natural progression took place as the Hoskins
focused more and more of their time upon the raising up of spiritual leaders. In
the fall of 2001 David was given a great honor by being asked to join the apostolic
council of the Federation of Ministers and Churches International led by Brother
Jim Hodges and together with Laurie they were asked to oversee the international
missions division and translocal ministries of FMCI. As a result of this new assignment
the Hoskins’ were drawn upon greatly to help equip the saints in many parts of the
world and by the year 2004 they were regularly ministering in quite a few nations.
As time passed their callings were increasingly being drawn upon in a number of
places to work with and oversee existing and emerging networks, churches and ministries.
Due to the many relationships that God was forming the need arose to develop a ministry
which would help to nurture these existing relationships and also ones that were
yet to be developed. This new ministry was to go by the name of Kingdom Advancers
International and it would serve to draw a company of leaders together for the purpose
of gaining a greater synergy in the Kingdom. KAI was established to be an extension
of the FMCI network and a representation of that stream of Kingdom expression.
At
the same time that David & Laurie were working with FMCI the Lord was also deepening
their relationship with Brother Juan Jose Herrera of San Luis Potosi Mexico. Brother
Juan Jose in the mid and late nineties was in the midst of seeing a real move of
God as the Holy Spirit was being released in a wonderful and powerful new way among
many of the churches of Mexico. As a result of the move of God brother Juan Jose
was instrumental in the birthing of a new church in an Indian village in the mountains
of Huastecas Mexico. Many churches in the area grew hungry for what the Lord was
doing in the lives of the people within this new church plant. Many of the independent
churches that were around and in the region shared with Brother Juan Jose a desire
to connect with him as a father in the ministry.
As things began to progress, brother
Juan Jose asked David & Laurie to partner with him in this endeavor and a network
was established in 2004 with the purpose of securing these existing and emerging
works and helping them maintain their forward progression in the things of the Spirit
as well as governmentally. The name of this new network was to be Alliance Del Reino
and God is using it as a vehicle to spread the message of the Kingdom into many
Spanish speaking countries. Alliance Del Reino is an autonomous network which is
a spiritual extension of the ministry Kingdom Advancers International.
